GETTING STARTED

You are welcome.

  • All classes are open to all levels, all the time.

  • No membership required, and we do have unlimited memberships.

  • Raw beginners are welcome in any class. The first 15 minutes are vigorous, then it steadies out.

  • Let the teacher know about any injuries or special conditions you might have.

  • If you're injured, nervous, or quite out of condition you can start with a few PRIVATE SESSIONS.

  • Experienced students are always welcome, in any class.

  • Please do the class as it is led by the teacher.

  • You may level up, or modify down, the same pose on the same timing.

YOU WILL SWEAT

  • The room will be 90-95 degrees, depending the weather and attendance. We have INFRARED HEATERS.

  • Please arrive well hydrated and well nourished.

  • Bring a change of clothes for after class.

  • Wear clothes that stay put, synthetic blends are comfortable.

  • Bring a mat, mat towel, props, personal towel, and water.

  • We have blocks and straps to borrow, and mats and yoga towels to rent.

  • Come ten minutes before class.

  • And, if you are late, please come in : )

  • Please stay for the whole class. Rest as much as you need.

  • Parking is strictly enforced in Gloucester, feed your meter!

A strong yoga practice anchors the spirit and opens the body. Old metabolic residue is rinsed away and our minds are cleared of any build up. A moving meditation frees us from rehashing the past and worrying about the future. When we are free of pain and worry we can clearly see what is right, right now.
